Arizona Animal Refuge is a Shelter and Organization that provides supplies, support funding and relief to homeless animals in Maricopa County. 

We work in cooperation with several Arizona animal rescue organizations such as, Arizona Alliance for Animal Protection, Halo Animal Rescue, Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary, Arizona Animal Welfare League, Foundation for Homeless Cats, Altered Tails, and Animal Welfare League

to combat a growing crisis of feral and abandoned animals.

 

We work with multiple local community businesses to distribute unclaimed Lost and Found items to Animal Rescue Thrift shops like the Halo Animal Boutique, The Arizona Animal Rescue Coalition and Lucky Paws AZ Thrift Store and provide special traps for anyone interested in reducing feral populations in their neighborhoods through a Program called TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release).

 

Our organization also provides grant writing services for local animal charities and improve animal rights legislation. We are currently working on prospective legislation to create an Arizona Animal Abuse Registry. We foster adult cats, abandoned feral kittens and abused dogs that often have special needs and socialization before they find their "Furever" Homes.
